The performances lean hard into his fusion of blues instinct and technical fearlessness, with Beck doing more with a tremolo arm than most players do in a lifetime. With a Discogs community rating of 4.6/5, collectors have been consistently enthusiastic about what this release delivers.

This 2-LP vinyl pressing earns its place in any serious collection beyond just the live material. Sides A through most of D capture the tour in full, but flip to the end and you get two exclusive studio recordings that never appeared on the CD version — as do 'Plan 9' and 'Yenin,' two additional tracks that are vinyl-only. Worth noting for the detail-obsessed: the printed track order on Side B (inner sleeve and back cover) is incorrect — the real sequence differs from what's listed, a known quirk of this pressing.

1969 tour recordings · 2015 release | Deuce Music | Live Edition | 2-LP set

Community Rating: 4.6/5.0 (40 ratings on Discogs)

Tracklist

Side A
A1.
