Few holiday albums have earned the cultural permanence of Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas. Recorded in 1965 for a Coca-Cola-commissioned TV special, Guaraldi's warm, understated jazz — anchored by his signature piano and a children's choir from St. Paul's Episcopal Church — became the soundtrack to an American institution. It's since been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry, and certified 5x Platinum. The Discogs community rates it 4.7/5, and that consensus has held for decades.

This 2025 Craft Recordings pressing was issued to mark the 75th anniversary of PEANUTS and the 60th anniversary of the special. What sets it apart is the two-sided zoetrope picture disc — spin it and the classic holiday scenes animate. It's pressed on heavyweight vinyl, housed in a die-cut cover with the disc in a plastic sleeve. Hand-etched and laser-etched runout inscriptions confirm the care put into this limited edition release.
