Avenged Sevenfold is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, released on October 30, 2007, through Warner Bros. and Hopeless Records. It was the band's first studio album to be solely self-produced, and their final studio album to feature The Rev on drums before his death during production of Nightmare (2010). The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, won the Kerrang! Award for Best Album in 2008, and has been certified platinum (RIAA) in the US and gold (BPI) in the UK.
