Luck and Strange is the fifth studio album by English guitarist and songwriter David Gilmour, released on 6 September 2024 by Sony Music. Produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew, the album features lyrics primarily written by Gilmour's wife, novelist Polly Samson, addressing themes of mortality and aging. Their children contributed additional vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation. The title track features keyboards recorded in 2007 by Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, who died in 2008. The album also includes a cover of the 1999 Montgolfier Brothers song 'Between Two Points'. Luck and Strange became Gilmour's third number-one album on the UK Albums Chart. Released as a limited exclusive translucent sea blue vinyl with gatefold sleeve and 16-page booklet. Target Exclusive.
