Produced primarily by Dr. Dre and Mel-Man with Lord Finesse, the album features extensive guest appearances including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Xzibit, Hittman, and Nate Dogg. It expands on Dre's G-funk sound with gangsta rap themes, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 516,000 first-week copies, and has been certified 6× Platinum with over 7.8 million U.S. sales.
