American Beauty isn't just a great Grateful Dead record — it's one of the great American records, full stop. This 2024 reissue is a Barnes & Noble exclusive pressed on opaque "Fruit Punch" colored vinyl — a deep, eye-catching red-purple that looks as good on a shelf as it sounds on a turntable. The remaster was overseen by an A-list team including David Lemieux and Joe Gastwirt, and the pressing comes with a poly-lined inner sleeve. Runouts feature a combination of etched and stamped markings. Made in the U.S.A.
