Macadelic arrived in 2012 as a free mixtape and immediately signaled that Mac Miller was operating on a different level. Blending hazy psychedelia with sharp lyricism, it showcased his range as both rapper and producer while pulling in a remarkable roster — Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Juicy J, Cam'ron, Joey Bada$$, and Casey Veggies among them. Tracks like "Loud," "Clarity," and "Thoughts From a Balcony" hold up as some of the most emotionally textured work of his catalog. With a 4.7/5 rating across 233 Discogs reviews, collectors consistently rank this among his essential releases.
This 2023 pressing is the Urban Outfitters exclusive white vinyl edition — a clean, visually striking 2-LP set with an embossed cover that gives the packaging real weight. Inside you'll find plain white paper inner sleeves for each record. Pressed in the USA on Rostrum Records, this is a well-produced reissue that does the album justice.
