Maná's seventh studio album arrived in 2006 after a four-year absence and immediately reminded the world why they're Latin rock's most enduring act. Amar Es Combatir blends the band's signature melodic rock with reggae and tropical textures, anchored by a standout collaboration with Juan Luis Guerra. This 2025 remastered pressing presents the album on purple & black marbled vinyl across two heavier LPs (not 180gm audiphile but heavier than the standard 140gm vinyls), giving the audio a fresh treatment that holds up well against the original release. The remaster was completed in 2019, and this color pressing makes it a legitimate collector's piece — red vinyl editions of major Latin catalog titles don't stay in circulation long.
